Music Ministries

Music is the gift God gives us to express our greatest praise, our deepest longings, our joys, and our sorrows. Music touches the congregation in spiritual and personal ways, allowing each person to find a connection to grace that strengthens and encourages their faithfulness. Our services have a traditional framework, with broad variations and creative directions. We sing fresh songs of praise alongside “old favorite” hymns of faith. We lead the congregation’s worship with songs performed by the choirs and instrumental arrangements. We encourage the congregation’s participation in hymns, prayer responses, and other musical elements of the service.

Alleluia Ringers

A willingness to learn and a good arm are all that is necessary to participate in the bell choir. If your desire is to use your musical gift to glorify God, we have a bell waiting to be rung by you! Right now the Bell Choir is on hiatus, but when it resumes rehearsals will be at 9:30am on Sundays

Chancel Choir

The adult choir welcomes all who have a desire to sing the glorious music of the Church and serve in the leadership of worship at Woodhaven. A wide repertoire, from the classics to spirituals, is explored and celebrated in the regular Sunday service as well as seasonal music of the liturgical year. Rehearsals are each Wednesday at 5:15pm and Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., and we sing in worship at 10:30 a.m.

Joyful Noise Children’s Choir

Joyful Noise Children’s Choir is open to all ages in elementary and middle school. All ages are encouraged to praise the Lord with joyful noise!

We are still adjusting our rehearsal schedule, so please contact Hallie Spence (discipleship@woodhavenpres.org) for details.
