Children & Youth
All children and Youth classes (ages PreK – 12th grade) use lessons and activities based on the Follow Me: Biblical Practices for Faithful Living curriculum from PC(USA) These lessons will explore different biblical practices and how they were practiced in Bible times and how we can practice them today. They are a piece of a new curriculum that will show up in all parts of the church. You are invited to join us and encouraged to invite a friend!
Spirit Seekers Class For Adults
The Spirit Seekers Class for adults meet for discussions surrounding both scripture and secular books. They are currently studying the book Searching for Happiness: How Generosity, Faith, and Other Spiritual Habits Can Lead to a Full Life by Martin Thielen.
Presbyterian 101 class
This is a new offering that meets onsite. It’s geared toward new members but intended for anyone who wants a “refresher” (maybe you’ve been a Presbyterian for a while and need a reminder of the church’s basic beliefs). The Presbyterian 101 class is 5-6 weeks long and will be offered multiple times a year on an as needed basis.
Christ Care Bible Study Group
The Christ Care Bible Study Group is open to all women of Woodhaven (members as well as visitors) They use the Presbyterian Women (PW) Bible study offered by the PC(USA) and meets once a month onsite. You are encouraged to contact Hallie Spence if you are interested in this ministry.
Men of WPC
The men of WPC meet for breakfast, fellowship, and conversation once a month. During these Gatherings, a guest speaker is sometimes invited to speak on a variety of topics.
